Irish Tenor Banjo

Problem

Irish traditional music relies heavily on oral and aural learning, but finding a structured, portable way to learn tenor banjo tunes is difficult. Most resources are either scattered across the internet or require a desktop to access.

Approach

I built a free iOS app that brings Irish traditional tunes to the tenor banjo player's pocket. The app is designed around the instrument's standard GDAE tuning and focuses on making tune learning accessible and enjoyable on a mobile device.

Outcome

Irish Tenor Banjo is live on the App Store, free to download. It gives players like me a convenient way to learn and practice Irish tunes wherever they are!
